Nessie Gearing has used her considerable talent for drone filming to showcase the venue for our upcoming Car Boot Sale and Sand Sculpture Event!
The area known as ‘The Boom’ in Mellon Charles was once a base camp during World War 2 for personnel involved in the notorious Arctic Convoys. The story of the convoys is very well documented in the Arctic Convoy Museum in Aultbea.
On 7th August 2021, however, it will be hosting its first ever outdoor sale (so far as we know!), and we are very much hoping for the weather to be as lovely as it is in Nessie’s video.
